Pregnancy announcement??

When did you announce? I don't want to announce too soon, but we are so excited it's hard to keep it a secret.

We told family and very close friends pretty much when we found out(around 5 weeks). I told anyone that I would turn to in the event of a miscarriage. Social Media announcement at 13 weeks because it was our 10 year anniversary of being together

I announced at 11 weeks, the last time I heard the heartbeat was at 6w 1d, so now I'm wondering if I should have waited. 
I actually had an appointment at 11 weeks but the doctor said I had to wait till my next appointment at 16 weeks to hear it with a Doppler . I'm seriously worrying now idk why but I am.

I didn't announce til 20 only because we had a miscarriage before. Although close friends and family knew right away. 
It's really just about how hard it would be to tell people the news IF you miscarried. Honestly it was nice having my close friends and family in the know both pregnancies.
