Laboring in the shower?

So I'm kind of freaking out. I planned on giving birth at this hospital that my doctor who I like, only delivers at. Me being naive, first child, thought all hospitals would have a bath tub in the room! Well I just found out this hospital does not, just showers. I already pre-registered for this location. Can I cancel my pre registration? I'm only 15 weeks. I hate to find another doctor, but I know another hospital near me that has tubs for laboring in. Or has anyone heard of women being comforted by the shower during labor? That would save me from a whole lot of trouble, but I have no idea!
