LADIES DRINK YOUR WATER!!!
I was having excrutiating pains since Saturday where I got into the tub thinking maybe they would subside and they did after I threw up. So the next day I did so much cleaning and started feeling that same horrible pain on my lower back side, so I got in the tub and nope it wasn’t working. I took two Tylenol’s and nothing. I go to try and sleep it off and it was not letting me go to sleep and when I did it was for like 10 min and again with the pains. I’m at the point where it’s just annoying me, so I go to the living room and face the opposite side of my couch rocking back and forth, it helped until I would stop rocking. At this point I’m crying in pain and my husband didn’t know how to help me, so I get on fours on my bed and start rocking but it’s obvious I wasn't gonna stay all night doing that so I put my sweats on, put my sandals on and drove myself to the hospital at 2 am Monday. Walk into the er and they took me in right away, mind you I’m 33 weeks pregnant. They tell me to get undressed and put the gown on. They took me to get a sonogram of my kidneys and let me tell you I was crying when the sonogram tech was digging that probe against my right kidney. I kept grabbing the bed railings like if I was going to fall from it. Finally, got some morphine that only worked for 10 min, got another dose like 2 hours later after crying and begging, but again only 10 min relief. At last they made me sign my transport papers and got admitted into the women’s and baby hospital, which is like 45 min away. More Ivs, more blood work, more urines, and more drugs. I had a confirmed kidney stone, infection and my uterers were inflamed. The pain from 1-10 is a 20, so ladies please drink your water because I can say the pains are equal or more compared to labor. Let me read your kidney stone stories. I wanna make sure I wasn’t being a cry baby 😩
