Preseed.. Thoughts?

Question

Has anyone used/heard of "Preseed" (lube that's supposed to help the sperm make its way up the superhighway)? What are your thoughts? Pros? Cons?

A friend from work recommended it to me, she's knows we are ttc, and I told her I also have dryness issues. According to her fertility doc, water based lubes aren't always conducive to sperm movement.

Thoughts?

When you guys used it did you use the applicators? Or just as a lube right before? Sorry for all the questions just want to see which way worked best for everyone.  Hoping next month works for us.

The only con I have heard of is that it helps the abnormal sperm that would not normally make it up there, get up there. So there may be an increased chance for a disabled child or child with birth defects. But I don't know. That does scare me but that could also happen without using preseed and I'll love my baby unconditionally. Otherwise, I've actually heard a lot of success stories. My fiancé and I started using it and I'm now waiting to see if AF arrives!

I'm wondering the same. TTC for about 6 months now, and I have no issues whatsoever with dryness. I guess it wouldn't hurt to try...

I misscarried back in November.  My husband and I have been TTC since.  Last month we used Preseed for the first time and I am now 6 weeks pregnant!  I also recommend reading the Sermon Meets Egg Method.  I am not saying it is gospel, but it does have alot of good recommendations.

This is my first month using it. I asked my obgyn about it and asked if it'd help she said well....it won't hurt so I'm trying it
