How do you pronounce "Chile" in English....
I work at a Elementary school, while reading an article with my 3rd graders we came up on the name of the country "Chile". I'm fluent in both Spanish & English so....I pronounced it in Spanish then asked one of the kiddos who only speaks English to tell me how he would pronounce it in English.....
Dead....silence....with in a minute he looks at me with a precious face & says "JALAPEÑOS!".
