Diet with Metformin?

So did your doctor tell you to diet while taking Metformin? I didn’t get the chance to ask him if it increases my chances or not. Looking for yalls help! Thank you❤️

I wasn't told to diet. I did have to change some things I ate because the metformin would make me sick if I took it with anything greasy or heavy- so had to cut out fried food or fast food and eat smaller meals.

mine didn't tell me to diet just to drink alot of water since the diarrhea makes you dehydrated
