how do you know if a girl is gay?

So say you're out walking down the street, or at a coffee shop and you see someone attractive. and I mean "femme". The "hard to tell" kinds (not that you should assume about anyone), how do you know? I mean yea there's the little things like cut finger nails but that could mean anything. How do you know, and more importantly, if she is, how do you let her know you're interested without making a fool of yourself?

Honestly, sometimes stereotypes are accurate, however other times, they're not. You shouldn't base sexuality off of physical appearance. I myself am pretty feminine, and unless I address it, people assume I'm straight. The honest answer to your question, if you want to know if someone's gay, ask 😂 Aside from being straightforward (lol), if they're followers or advocates of the LGBT community, have casually mentioned anything that could infer liking women, you met at a gay bar or something etc. then you can safely assume that they might not be straight.
