How to get rid of cold sores?(QUICKLY!)

Ok ladies help me out here. I get cold sores every time I get sick, and sadly, I have one now. I use medicine, but do you know any other tricks to get rid of them fast?

ice and i soak cotton balls in rubbing alcohol and it will dry it out so it heals fast

Buy a tube of Abreva.  It's pricey, but it does the trick in getting rid of cold sores asap.

I always use a brand of meds called Releeve and then just use ice packs to keep it cool. 
Sometimes I make a baking soda paste with water to help dry it out but definitely use ice packs to help with the swelling

try and avoid licking your lips
drink a lot of water
I find most medicated, over the counter stuff doesn't work as well as toothpaste tbh! once your cold sore has cleared, replace your toothbrush, lipsticks and anything that has been near the coldsore recently :)
