i need advice!!!

Hello. I have a question I'm trying to have a baby and I try everything. it didn't work . maybe next time. but so I took a pregnancy test on Saturday morning and it was negative and I started my period at night ( spotting) but my period is normally super heavy for the rest of the days and for some reason I'm cramming about 3 weeks and it's super light. so my husband said when you're done just take another pregnancy test and see what happens. I was reading that if you have a period super light maybe you're going to be pregnant or something. is it true??
