Inaccurate Results

Can the hospital PT not detect a super early pregnancy just like home tests cause my home test came back negative and so the the doctors but I've been super tired and crampy and just all around feeling different this past week and a half my breasts are super temder and slightly firm I'm expecting my period any day I just don't want to get my hopes up again I haven't felt cramps like this before a period before other than my first pregnancy and was told it was implantation cramps
