Any vets on here?

I just can't wait until tomorrow. We just bought a new puppy tonight & on our 3 1/2 hr ride home he threw up so many times. We found worms in his puke. So we get home & he finally poops but there weren't any worms in it. I'm so confused. We stopped at Walmart on our way home to get him some De-wormer but now I'm hesitant to even give it to him. Here's a pic of my new fur baby Remi taking his first bath with us ❤️

He could have thrown up due to the car ride. As him having worms in the vomit if they were moving means he just worked all  of the contents from his stomach out that's why you didn't see any worms in his stool. If you take him to the vet tomorrow hold off on giving him the over the counter dewormer. They should have a stronger dose.

It's super common with little pups. Don't give it. (I'm a vet tech) go to a proper vet and have him examined to make sure he doesn't have any other heath issues, and so they can give correct medication specific to his condition.

Agree with other poster. Hold off on giving him anything until he sees vet. They will dose him properly and be able to help. Poor puppy. He is super cute. Just a side note on German shepherds, they can be some of the best dogs, just make sure you do puppy training! Personal experience with a friend who did not train their dog very well and he is uncontrollable and stubborn. Although it can happen with any dog, they are particularly stubborn! Good luck!
