Teeth and biting

My son will be 9 months old this week.. he has 2 bottom teeth and has recently started biting me when I breastfeed. A few days ago he bit me so hard that when I pumped I was bleeding and there was blood in the milk. I don't want to stop breastfeeding but I am scared every time I feed him now. Anyone else go through this ? And what did you do to make them stop biting ? Or did you just stop breastfeeding. I knew the day would come where I would need to stop breastfeeding I'm just not sure I'm ready to stop just yet.
