So DH and I are trying for #2 and I have a pregnancy test that I "hid" in a drawer. My mother comes and stays with us Thursdays and Fridays and keeps my daughter while I'm at work. Well, two weeks ago, she decided to "clean" my bathroom. I can home and realized what she did and immediately went to THE drawer. Sure enough, the box of pregnancy tests had been moved! Now, she didn't say anything, but I know my mother... she saw it. Her and my MIL have both been making snide little comments about them wanting me to have another. I have told both that my SO and I are perfectly happy with the one. (I don't want anyone to know that we are TTC. Just because we had our daughter the first try doesn't mean we will be ablec to have a second.) I have been quite cranky these last two months and the stress just rose after the two negative tests in two months. So i wanted to try to get them both to back off. So i went on a small tiraid yesterday and "complained" to my MIL how my mother found the tests and I bet she thinks we are trying and I don't know if I want another kid and blah blah blah. With my stress lately with work, I even got teary eyed while I said all this. My mom and MIL talk, so I'm sure she will say something to my mom about it and set the record straight (winky face). Do any of you have ways you get most family members off your trail? I am running out of ideas, plus I am a reeeeaallly bad liar...
