Trigger Warnings

I was listening to the radio at work today and that 1-800-273-8255 song by Logic, Alessia Cara & Khalid came on. It got me thinking about how when the media writes articles about sensitive topics they always add a trigger warning.

If you haven't heard the song, it's about suicide prevention.

So how come they use trigger warnings in articles, but won't use them on the radio? Do you think they should?

I've been struggling with mental illness for a long time, and hearing the chorus repeating "I just wanna die" isn't something I'd like to hear right now.
