Are you/did you refer to your baby by name before birth?

Question

What do you call your baby when you talk about them? Is it different when you talk to the baby vs when you talk to your partner/family/other people?
We're about 95% set on a name but I am so indecisive I haven't been ready to fully commit. Some people seem so set on their name that they have no problem referring to the baby by name and use it all the time.
Sometimes when I talk to him I test it out, and my husband and I are slowly starting to use the name talking to each other, but otherwise I always say "he" or "the baby". I don't feel like I'll be fully comfortable using him name with other people until he's here and it's on paper! lol.

We have no idea what baby is yet, so for now we lovingly refer to baby as 626. Our little science experiment, we're currently in the incubation phase :D

We have a nickname for the baby when my husband and I talk. But we haven't officially decided on a name yet, so I guess it's a placeholder. But it's way simpler than saying "baby" all the time.

We called ours princess titi monkey until 8 months when her name suddenly hit both of us. And from that day forward she’s been Erika Grace and it fits her to the t. We didn’t even have a back up.

I voted 'other' because we had our name decided but decided to not tell anyone until after the birth. We said we wanted it to be a surprise but really we just didn't want crap from our (highly opinionated) families! We have 3 kids and it's been so much more peaceful this way.  I didn't want to slip up in front of them,  so I never used the name even with my husband so we wouldn't get used to it.

My baby gets referred to as little squish. I hate squirt and bean or any of the weird names people call their children so it’s squishy until it’s born 😏

I catch myself every once in a while calling her by the name we think sue will be "Sequoia" but I feel I really won't know until I meet her.
I have a client who her whole life had major anger issues, as an adult, went and did some intense hypnotherapy and learnt that it all was around her name, apparently her parents thought she was a boy and called her Chucky her whole time in utero, she came out a girl, they named her Joanne. As soon as she stopped being referred to as given name, she said she felt this heaviness come off her shoulders, you should have seen her face. Needless to say that stuck with me, so I try to be mindful
