Slightly annoyed..

We had our baby shower last weekend and it was absolutely lovely! We had about 30 people there and it was perfect.. exactly what I wanted. Leading up to the shower I noticed that nothing off our registry had been purchased. My mom got me a ton of big ticket items such as stroller, bassinet, mamaroo etc and my registry had a ton of little inexpensive items that were practical. I'm talking a 12 dollar pacifier thermometer and baby bottles.. I figured there was an issue with the registry but when I opened the gifts I noticed that seriously everyone just bought clothes.. I have particular taste in baby clothes and most of what I got I won't use. Am I rightfully frustrated.. it wasn't like I was asking for expensive things I just wanted practical stuff... I did get a few gift cards to fill in any gaps but seriously most of it was baby clothes and useless other things. Anyone else experience this?

Okay so maybe I didn't come off as before but I am grateful! Extremely grateful that people traveled from out of state to celebrate us. Grateful that I had an amazing shower. I'm just a practical person and having 5 of the same onesie is a little frustrating to me. Of corse I would never say anything! Also I wasn't using a shower to provide the necessities for my baby.. my husband and I make more than enough money to support our baby boy. I was just wondering if anyone else experienced this. I am more frustrated than anything that a registry I spent a ton of time making was useless. It is seriously not about the money spent on the gift. I guess I'm just more practical.
