What days should I take clomid for best chances?!

I was just prescribed 50 mg of clomid to take on cycle day 5-9 however I have been reading that some people have more success taking it days 3-7! I'm 32 and have been TTC over a year. Diagnosed with unexplained infertility and I apparently ovulating on my own since last month my Dr did an ultrasound. I just want to take it when I have the best chances! Let me know what you think! Or if you have had success taking clomid, and which days did you take it?!
