Boyfriend vs. Mother

What do you do when you find someone that you genuinely love and care about and could see a future with but your mother hates him? My boyfriend and I are 19 and we've been dating for almost a year and a half and have talked about eventually getting married. I have been in a previously abusive relationship and know the signs but my current S.O. is literally the man of my dreams and treats me like a queen. Everyone of my close friends and important people in my life agree that we are great for each other, but there are a lot of occasions where when I talk about my S.O. and our potential future with my mom, I'm met with sarcastic comments, avoidance, and a complete change of attitude. What should I do?
