iphone users help

hello, i currently have the 6s but my screen is super cracked (missing screen glass in two parts) and now it has water damage so the screen is barely functional right now. so i’m getting a new phone. is the phone 7 any better than the 6s or should i stick with my current phone? i am leaning towards a the 7 but i’m not sure
