Non-stress tests!?

Question

Has anyone had an nst done? How did it go for you? 
I'm 32 weeks and had my first yesterday, they had me stay for an hour and forty minutes but were very vague about why so long and then said because I was already schedule for a bbp on Monday they felt comfortable letting me go.

I had one because my baby slept in the other day. She moved 8 times in 5 hours, during what is normally her active time. She woke up about a half hour into the NST and they sent me home after another half hour showing normal movement, the nurse i had mentioned that my baby sleeps very soundly and normally that lack of movement wouldve been a major red flag. My baby just sleeps like the dead 🙄 no point in kick counting for me i guess lol

I had one around the same time. Mine was an hour. I hadn’t felt the baby move much and I was having Braxton Hicks 4/5 an hour. All turned okay but I went to having weekly appointments at my OB and my high risk and delivered emergency c section at 37 weeks

I have them weekly, I’m 36 weeks now and have had them weekly since 32 weeks. Although mine are usually only 30 minutes but I also have a bbp every week as well right after my nst so there’s no need for my nst to be any longer

I had one after a car accident at 7 months with my first. They kept me for 4 hours, on my birthday and wouldn't let me eat 😰
But all was well. If they let you leave im assuming you're good. I would call your doctor for clarification.
