itchy and dry every month after my period?? help

Hi gals, every month after I have my period I get an itchy and dry vagina it’s been happening for the last 8 or so cycles. The first couple of times I thought it was thrush so I used canestan anti fungal cream for a couple of weeks and it went away but then I got it back after my next period. And it keeps happening. I really don’t know what it is?? Has anyone had this before it’s not an sti or anything because I have been checked. I keep using the anti fungal cream and it goes away but always comes back after my period. 😤 halllp!
