Has anyone had Placenta Previa?

Question

Am 30weeks pregnant and have been told by the doctor I have a low laying Placenta and have had two heavy bleeds over the past two weeks have been given steroids for the baby just in case I do have a heavy bleed which will then mean baby needs to be delivered early. Has anyone else had this?

With me girls - I have been told that the doctors are hoping the placenta will move however I have had bleeding and clotting for the past two weeks so have been told to prepare for further bleeding if so straight back to the hospital, in case I suffer any sharp pains this could mean the placenta has separated and need to go in to hospital asap. Am preying non of this happens have had steroid injections to help with baby's lungs in case of early delivery, however also have had a scan booked for 36weeks to see were the placenta is hoping that there will be non of the above and then plan of action accordingly. Just feel helpless am scared to sleep as the bleeding I've had has been when I was asleep. Feel like I'm on a rollercoaster. As long as baby is ok that's all I'm concerned about xx

I was diagnosed at 20 weeks and it moved just out enough by 35 weeks. I didn't have any bleeding but I was put on pelvic rest. The doctor said that there's really nothing you can do but hope it moves, and in most cases it does. At my 32 week re-check it had moved enough that's midwife told me we could do vaginal birth with an epidural in the event that they needed to switch to C-section at the last minute. Thankfully it moved enough by 35 weeks that natural birth is an option. Good luck!

At 11 weeks I had full placenta previa. At my 21 week ultrasound the placenta was completely out of the way. From what I understand in most cases the placenta moves away from the cervix before birth. My midwife told me that it's common to have bleeding when the placenta lifts on one side while it grows away from the cervix. Not sure if that's what's happening to you. I hope it moves out of the way for you and that your baby doesn't have to be born early.

I had this for most of my pregnancy. It moved up by like 30 weeks for me. 
Though I didn't have any bleeding and the only thing my doctor told me was that if it didn't move I'd have to have a c section. And I was on pelvic rest.
