What to expect coming off NuvaRing?

I took out my nuvaring 6 days into a new pack. The reason being: aura migraines. hormonal birth control + aura migraines = big health risk. Monday, I have an appointment with my OB/GYN to switch methods (thinking copper IUD). what side effects can I expect? I am already cramping and it's only been a few hours since I've taken it out. I know I can expect some bleeding but I'm just curious if there's anything else.

My experience was different cause I used it for 2x years, and then just never renewed the prescription because I got a new job whose insurance didn't cover it, so I took it out when I was supposed to, not in the middle of a cycle. I had a "period" like I would every month and immediately started ovulating the next month and everything went back to normal immediately. My guess would be you may have some light bleeding, like a light period, but I can't say for sure. Good luck with the next method! Migraines suck!
