Period issues??

Question

So I started a birth control about 3 weeks ago and have been on my period for 9 days now... it gets so light I think I’m done but then I just end up still on my period. It’s driving me absolutely crazy and honestly I’m not sure how to handle. Any tips or advice or anything of he nature? Thanks!

I started bc a couple months ago. I always have to have a panty liner I've spotted nearly everyday

This happens when the bc is too strong. It took years to find the right one for me. I took bc everyday religiously and bled the whole time because it was too strong. Only way I found to fix it without changing it completely is start it on the day your period stops completely and don't even take the ones that your supposed to take throughout your period. They are sugar pills with almost no hormones. I never got pregnant and my periods regulated
