Curious about joining a sorority ?

I really wanna join what would be considered a mostly white sorority and I don’t want to get rejected because of my race. I know it sounds bad but I feel like we could really bond and get along very well. I don’t want to feel out of place either in college. I feel like people who don’t join historically black sororities get bashed at my school. Am I just over thinking it? I just want to be apart of a sisterhood and I feel like the other sorority isn’t a fit for me.
