Does your LO understand what “ no! “ means?

When I tell my daughter “ no “ she just shakes her head and stops for a little and does what She was doing again a few seconds later.

Mine spends all day yelling no at me because that's what I spend all day saying..... So we tried to switch with Don't for a while and he picked that up too. I'd say don't touch and then a whole 2 weeks I heard ON'T TCCCHH yelled back at me 😂 I don't get why my 13 month old is like some bossy crazy 3 year old. So basically if I tell him no he'll listen, but if he's in a certain mood then he'll listen but also yell no back at me and throw whatever he was holding 🙃.

My son knows, but they're at the age where they're testing their boundaries and earning independence. I usually say no and just pick him up and move him away from what I don't want him doing.

My son knows what it means and he's laugh and do it anyway to get my reaction. So I started slapping his hand. Now when I say no, he just points at it and says "yes?" And we go back and forth a couple times before he walks away. 
Because now it's not funny, now no is a serious thing.

Mine does exactly what yours does except it’s 50-50 whether he’ll start doing it again 2 minutes after or actually walk away while shaking his head no.
