Brazil Passes Law Allowing People to be "Diagnosed" as Gay. Thoughts?

I heard this first on instagram, then at my local GSA meeting, and then I did some research and it's a real thing. Being gay is being diagnosed as a disease down in Brazil and a doctor can LEGALLY prescribe CONVERSION THERAPY.

What are your thoughts?

Also: WHY is this not a bigger topic? I haven't seen it in CC (albeit I don't pop in all that often anymore) but honestly... this should be a bigger deal than it is.
