generic or brand???

Please help me. have you girls had quick success with levothyroxine at lowering tsh levels or better results with synthroid. I guess synthroid is brand name. I started hypo meds and in 7 weeks my levels for worse and been TTC 5 months already

I use generic but some people NEED name brand. Try the name brand until you've been steady for several months or years then switch to generic. Especially if you're newly diagnosed and TTC, just to make sure your body is getting everything it needs. Or ask your doctor, bc thyroids are tricky and you may just need some more dosage tweaking.

I use levothyroxine and have for around 7 years. I’m 23 and I finally have it down in the 2.4 region. I was at a 6 and higher. Levo just seems to work for me. I’ve been off and on levo and synthroid but everyone’s different!
