Age-gap relationships?

Question

I am 11 years younger than my husband, and throughout our several years of being together, we have gotten LOTS of negativity thrown our way.
This app has proven to be a wealth of positivity and idea-sharing, so I figured I would ask this question:
What is your take on age-gap relationships? If you are in one, do you receive negative remarks, and how do you cope? 
Any thoughts, experiences, and opinions welcome. ❤️

I don't think 11 years is that big of a gap. I think emotionally women mature must faster than men and most of the time it takes an older man to be on the same level as the woman. My fiance is only 5 years older, but even if we were 11 years apart I wouldn't care what others think. It's about what works for you, and if you guys are happy that's the most important thing.

My husband is 11 years older than me. My ex was 20 years older than me. That isn't even the biggest age gap. If you're happy, that's really all that matters.

I’m 24 my SO will be 31 this November. Most people aren’t even aware of how much of a gap we have but some people who have heard (around my age) have acted shocked or bothered by it. Not sure why.

My husband is 11 years older than me and he makes me the happiest. We haven't really gotten any negative comments, but I think that is because we are 100% comfortable, confident and happy with each other. Random people tell us that we are a beautiful couple. Honestly, sometimes we joke about the age difference. We love and understand each other and that's all that matters. My advice to you is, be happy, and very proud of your husband and relationship.

Husband and I are 15 years apart. 15 YEARS! Lol 11 isn't a lot to me.

My boyfriend and I are 4 years apart. I'm 19 and he's 23. We don't get too many negative comments, just more of the "when are you getting married" or "when are you having kids" nonstop just because all of his friends are married with kids and we've been together for almost 3 years. I got negative comments in school about it saying he was with me for this or I was ruining his life. In the end those comments just made my relationship stronger.
