I need help making a decision! 😫

The day I will be induced, my mother in law has an appointment with her oncologist at same hospital and will know if she is finally cancer-free or not... She has a rare form of cancer and estimate cure rate is less than 19.2%.

My MIL didn’t want us to know in case the news is bad but my FIL told my SO anyway.

Now we need to decide if we want to hear the news the same day or wait after baby is born.

My SO is a very sensitive man and is very close to his mom. If the news is good then our minds will be free of worry the day we welcome our first born into this world.

If the news is bad, well i can’t really imagine.

Induction can take some time and it will be hard to avoid the subject if we decide to wait. But should we? I honestly have no clue what to do. I feel bad for my SO 😔
