How long did it take?

Hey ladies! I was wondering how long did it take for you to know that the person you were with was the one you were going to marry? I haven't been with my boyfriend that long (almost 4 months) but I am already certain that this is the person I want to marry. Follow up question how long did it take for your SO to propose?

I mean I would say it's different for all of us, my SO and I faced a lot of adversity in the beginning. I knew when I met him he'd be a big part of my life I just didn't know how (we are both in long term recovery from heroin addiction). When we met I was in early recovery, he had 5 years and some of the battles we had to deal with in the beginning I think made our bond ridiculously strong. After dating only 3 months most people thought we'd been a couple for years. I'm happy to say we just bought a house together 3 months ago and are going to start TTC at the beginning of the year. Marriage we know will happen but we have all the time in the world for that (his little brother just proposed and is getting married in June so we're gonna give his mom a break 😂, I'm not super close to my family/they are very unreliable so she'd be helping me a lot as well too). I hope that helps? I mean, either the person your dating your gonna be with and marry or you'll break  up. Both are scary, but all relationships  teach you something.

i knew from the 1st date. which was the day after we first met lol. we've been together for 3 years. we're technically in a "common law marriage" but no proposal yet. hes been hinting at it recently though 😉

I knew i wanted to marry my husband since day 1. We knew each other in high school, but we didnt reconnect until 3 years after we graduated. I knew he was the one when i went to his house and we were in his bedroom and we literally talked about everything and anything. And he actually listened to me. He didnt make sexual gestures or try n get in my pants. He was sweet and funny. Something ive never experienced before. I fell in love with him that night. 2 weeks later he asked me to be his girlfriend and after 1 month of dating i told him i loved him. We will be together 4 years in November and we just got married this past May. He proposed after 1 1/2 yrs of dating. Hes my best friend and i love him to pieces💕

I think we both knew just about 3-4 weeks in. He proposed at six months and we got married on the 1 year anniversary of our first date.

I knew probably at 3 months. He moved in with us at 2 1/2 months though. He proposed at 10 months. Married 9 months later. Expecting a little girl now 😊
