When does baby turn head down?

I'm almost 29 weeks and he has been kicking me very hard and VERY low! it's so uncomfortable around my cervix/vaginal area. I know I have a lot of time left for him to flip but when do babies usually go from breach to head down?

I didn’t get confirmation until 36 week appointment. Now (at 37 weeks) she’s kicking my ribs all day haha!

My girl has always been head down. Her head has been on my bladder since 12 weeks and I'm now 29 weeks.

At 34 weeks mine was head down

I'll be 31 weeks on Wednesday and my girl is already head down. If you haven't been checked yet for positioning, he MAY be head down. And I only say that because before my midwife checked me last week, I swore she was sideways or transverse because I was feeling kicks all over the place. When my midwife told me she was head down and pretty deep at that, I was in utter shock!
