Ordering Meds - All at the same time?

Question

So ladies, should I order all my meds at the same time or space them out as needed?
I've heard some people don't end up using all of their meds and ordering as they go saved them money.

I guess it depends on your financial/insurance situation. I purchased them all at once and will do the same if we do IVF again. Not stressing if we had everything (ours was delivery only) was nice and also we ruined a couple doses (dropped 1 needle, 1 cap was stuck and stabbed my finger) so when that happened I was able to grab more from the fridge instead of freaking out searching for more.

Mine were all delivered at one time. Starting my treatment next month. I’m wondering if I can consume all these meds but they’re covered by my Insurance. Also, what can we do to the remaining meds of not consume?

I ordered mine all together and then I did a refill as soon as I could. Good thing I did because I needed the extra for one of the meds for stimming.  Now, if we need to do another cycle for egg retrieval, I’ll only have one medicine to order.  If your meds are covered by insurance, check with them how soon you can refill and if your medical deductible/out of pocket counts toward pharmacy benefits.  Ours did, so Our out of pocket cost for meds was very minimal.

Talk to the nurses at your office.  I know a lot of people who have meds left over and some who had to order more (I’ve had both happen to me) ask if they price the same for meds as the delivery pharmacy.  They keep a stock of meds in case you need more over a weekend.  They have bailed me out before.  Also if it’s your second cycle ask about donated meds.  They really try to help you out if you are doing multiple cycles.  I hope this helps and am sending you baby dust
