He asked! But my family said no!

My boyfriend of almost 3 years asked me to marry 💍 him this weekend while on vacation! We have known we are made for one another since the jump, and this weekend he proposed👰🏼! We went back to our hometowns in Florida 🌊🌦☀️🏝for a visit and the first night we were there we stayed at my dads moms 👵🏻house🏠. My dad passed away in 2005 when I was 18 about to be 19 and when we first moved to Tennessee together my mom and stepdad told Cecil I was his problem now! So Cecil, my fiancé, asked my 93 year old grandmother (dads mom) if he could have my hand in marriage and she said no! 🙅🏼I mean straight faced 👵🏻and serious as hell! I then look at her and say "No?! Grandma Cecil just asked if he can marry me?!"💍👰🏼💕She had not heard him and immediately said yes! And wanted to know when we planned on getting married... so we now have a great story 😂 and the next morning while I was still in bed 🛏 he was next to me but on the floor and getting clothes 👕👖out of our bag and grabbed my right hand 🤚🏻 and asked me to marry him... I gave him my left hand and said "It's this hand silly!" Thinking he was kidding, I was totally awake when he then slides the ring on my left hand and asks again!!! I'm so excited! Of course I said yes!!! I love the way he did it because I am a sleepy 😴 girl and hate to get up but he is the opposite as soon as he his feet hit the ground he's up! So let me just say you know you got a good one when you don't even have to get outta bed and you go from dating to engaged! 😂
