How and when did you tell family about your pregnancy??

I was kind of in shock when I told my parents. I took a test and honestly thought it would be negative. my parents had just moved to Tennessee 3 days prior so I really didn't know how they would react. I text my mom the picture of the positive test and I expected a call right away. she instead kept texting me and now is upset that that's how she found out. I didn't know if she'd be happy since they literally just moved out of state and my mom usually prefers texts about important things so she has proof for the future. My parents are very excited but slightly upset with themselves for moving

I told my inlaws at 7 weeks & I was going to tell my parents this weekend but didn’t have the chance so I’ll be telling them this up coming weekend & by then I’ll be almost 9 weeks.

I took the opportunity to use my Dad’s birthday this past weekend to share the news! It was an intimate dinner with my brother, his wife, my parents, my SO and my grandma. My dad opened his birthday box to reveal a gift card on top, then proceeded to open the tissue underneath to an ultrasound and baby shoes. He thought it was a joke because I’ve been saying I wanted more time before kids. Then they figured it out and everyone was so excited! I just turned 12 weeks so it was the perfect time to tell them.

with our first pregnancy we were super excited and told everyone when I was 5 weeks. and then we had a miscarriage at 6 weeks. and we're now 10 weeks with our rainbow baby and plan on telling everyone this weekend. It's definitely up to you when you want to tell everyone but I'd wait until at least 10 weeks. Everyone was so devastated and it was hard to tell everyone we lost the first baby. I sure hope that you don't experience a miscarriage though!❤
