Cold remedy. Doterra on guard?

37 weeks pregnant and coming down with a bad cold along with the rest of my family. I'm hearing mixed reviews about diffusing toderra on guard through out the day. What's everyone's opinion on this

I’ve had multiple colds this pregnancy. Regular nasal saline to drain things out and Tylenol for aches is the safest and most effective. I also drank throat coat for a sore throat with honey.

All of my research about essential oils say not to use while pregnant, so I'm steering clear.  I'm just getting over a cold and I can say that I have been enjoying a mug of whole milk sweetened with local organic honey cinnamon and a little nutmeg.  Either during the day or occasionally before bed.  I'm not sure if this helped me get over it or was just a treat (I'm not usually a fan of milk...) Maybe gargle with salt water? And lots of water.

I use doterra on guard all the time!!  Any doterra oils are
Amazing! I diffuse onguard and also rub on spine and throat and bottom of feet!  When I apply topically i dilute with fractionated coconut oil!

I used it but devolved it with olive oil so it wasn't so potent.
