Co Sleeping? Please say why

So my LG is 2 days old and really wants to snuggle to sleep and I'm thinking of co sleeping to allow us all a good sleep.

What you think?

I "co-sleep" with my DS in the early mornings when he gets a bit noisier and can't quite get back to sleep (this is usually around 5:00). He comes onto the bed and falls into a silent, peaceful sleep until he gets up for the day (usually around 6:30 with me and my DH). Of course, naps are really sweet to have every once in a while. As long as the baby is in a safe place (not around pillows/loose blankets) and the mattress is firm enough that they can't turn to their side and be squished by your body, I think you're fine!

I sleep with my 8 day old LG on my chest. She just wants to be on me or my husband in order to sleep for more than a couple hours. They're just so young and they need to feel you there.

I think you mean bed-sharing, but anyways I bed-share with my son and honestly, I love it. But, you have to take the proper precautions to make it safe. It makes breastfeeding way easier and it's literally the only way my son will sleep. I keep the comforter away from him, use only one pillow, we sleep in the middle of the bed (my SO works 3rd), he sleeps on his back, I wear either no shirt or a tight shirt, and I tie my hair back. It's safe if done correctly.

My son is a week old. We did not buy a bassinet because his crib is in our room. But he doesnt like sleeping in it. He will sleep for 20 minutes tops. So i sleep with him on my chest in an oversized chair. I feel like this will be fine for a little while, that way I get some sleep too! Strictly breastfeeding right now so I need to be rested too!

I get a good 7 hours of sleep cosleeping with my two week old. (With one wake to feed. Make sure to research how to do it safely
