Will I need to be induced???

Question

I’m due tomorrow and just had my 40 week visit, I’m not dilated at all but she’s been in position since 32 weeks. I have an ultrasound scheduled for next week along with a NST but I’ve always been scared to be induced I wanted to do everything natural. Does this mean I’m gonna have to be induced or do you think she’ll come on her own?

Where I’m from they won’t let you go over 42 weeks, so by then you would have been induced. Just talk to your dr. And ask what the plan is or when they would want to induce if baby doesn’t come on own.  Good luck!

You still have 2 weeks :) baby could definitely still come on their own! With that being said, I've been induced twice, and it was great! Both of my labors were 5 hours with 20 minutes of pushing. Of course that's not everyone's experience with induction, but its not all bad :) I had amazing births! Good luck and I hope either way you get the birth that you want!
