About 8 years ago I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis now colitis proctitis. My Dr has tried me on Lialda at first helped but then another inflammation so then he had me prednisone for the flare up. That contented for some time years. Then yet another flare came. Off and on he would have me on prednisone when a flare would pop up. So I was taking Lialda with Mercaptopurine however this year nothing has worked even the prednisone. Although I’ve heard/read pros and cons about it. I’ve researched about it. Although I’m still feeling apprehensive, I’m eager to find out how well it help.

So as of this morning I went in for my Humira induction. 2 shots in my stomach and 2 shots in my thigh.

Is there anyone else I can relate to?

I can talk about it with my family and friends, and I love them dearly and support me.

I don’t have anyone else who’s gone through something similar that I can talk to/with.
