So my 4.5 month old is rolling from back to belly. He is doing this at night when he sleeps. I just happened to look at the monitor at 4am and it looked like he was face planted. I nearly had a heart attack. I ran into his room but his head was to the side, thank God. He can pick his head up, but once he realizes he is on his belly and can’t get back to his back or side he starts crying. I was up from 4-5:30am watching him on the monitor. Is a breathable mattress worth the peace of mind?! I feel it is and don’t know how I will be able to sleep!! Thoughts? Anyone have a breathable mattress they love? Thanks!
