At one, my daughter was still taking 2 naps a day.

Yup. He sleeps 7-7 at night and right around one (he's 16 months now) we transitioned him to one nap per day usually from like 1-3

She took two because we woke up at 5 every morning. She's take an hour one around 9:30 and she's take another hour one at 2. Now that's she's 3 we don't take naps. If she takes a nap, she's incredibly ill when she wakes up and nothing makes her happy. She's happier when she goes without one.
