I have had two children (and two miscarriages) and am pregnant with my third, due in March. My first labor was textbook, just under 8 hour natural birth. My second was 37 minutes from first contraction to delivery, resulting in an unattended, unplanned homebirth. My husband missed it and my dad caught my son in the bathroom. Luckily we were both totally fine, other than a lot of mental trauma to work through. EMS, my midwife and my husband showed up about 20 minutes after birth.

Has anyone experienced precipitous birth like this and then had another? What was it like?

We are doing it naturally, with a planned home birth this time as I will not get induced with the all risks associated.
