Is Fainting After/During Sex Normal?

I am 26 Female. I faint while having sex or during sex sometimes. It happened quite frequently in recent times. As soon as I feel that I am reaching the peak of arousal, I faint suddenly. It take 2-5 minuets for to come back to senses. Sometimes I feel breathless and pain in cheat. My husband is worried a lot about the condition. 
I would like to know if this is quite common. I was going through stressful routine since a month or so. Can this be a reason? Please reply if you have went through it before. Thanks.

This is absolutely not normal. It could be as simple as breathing too fast during sex, or it could be something more serious. This is definitely something you need to speak to a doctor about.

High or low Blood sugar, high or low blood pressure, higher CO2 levels in your blood from not breathing correctly, and anemia all are reasons to faint with “activity”..... when was your last doctor visit for some blood work?

Thanks for your suggestions friends. I had blood test after that and went to doctor. Found that I had vitamin D & B12 deficiency. Undergone EEG tests as well and one observation was fainting might be because of CO2 imbalance after heavy breathing. Doctor has advised to do regular exercises and prescribed vitamin doses and shots.

People don’t faint for no reason if you faint that much see a dr it could be nothing but could be something check it out before it is to late best of luck

there have been times that I have felt faint during sex but never to the point of passing out. I think it would be a good idea for you to see a doctor, especially since you are unconscious for multiple minutes.
