Will u buy a convertible car seat for your twins who are not walking yet??

My twins will be 11 months on the 14th and they are just under 18lbs..I have not switched over to the convertible carseat yet because they are not walking and I think it will be very difficult to get them n and out the car without the infant car seat..is anyone else waiting till the twins can walk until switching over ???

You should buy a convertible car seat when the child is uncomfortable in their infant seat ( my son hated sitting that far back) or the babes are too heavy to carry in their infant car seat. They don’t have to walk. Once they have control of their head and body, it isn’t hard to get them out. Disclosure- I only have one son now and twins on the way, but I hated carrying that seat. I am too weak.

We are skipping infant seats altogether, straight to convertibles out of hospital.
