Too young?

About a year ago, I went to my first appointment with an OBGYN. I told him I recently went to the ER and they told me I had ovarian cysts. They told me to check with an OBGYN. When I met the doctor I told him about the ER and would like a physical exam to make sure everything was okay. He told me I was too young (19 at the time) to do a physical exam and that he would just get my test results from the ER. He said he would call me to tell me what he saw. I never heard anything back. Now I'm 20 and making another appointment with a different doctor cause I'm having even more problems. What are the chances of him saying the same thing? Is it even worth the appointment?
