when you're feeding your baby and he/she gets a dirty diaper but at the end of the feeding also falls asleep.. what do you do with regards to the dirty diaper?

I change a million diapers a day I swear. Mine sharts all the time 😂 or takes like 10 minutes to poo. I’ve literally gone through 3diapers in one changing before cause she keeps going 🤦🏻‍♀️
I’ve done a hot swap change if she’s sleeping if it’s just pee though. Literally just take diaper off and put new one on no wipes or anything cause I’m afraid that will wake her up lol.

I have to wait for a little because she tents to continue while I'm changing her and makes a big mess so i learned my lesson but I don't put her down with dirty diaper if i do she will wake soon after

I always change the diaper before the feeding because my child most definitely will fall asleep while eating and I refuse to wake her up for a diaper change. Lol now if she poops after the feeding then I will change it and rock her back to sleep. 9 out of 10 of her diapers are poopy anyway so she usually wakes up from a nap poopy and ready to eat and go back to sleep. It's just a constant cycle of eat sleep poop 💩 😂

It depends... I usually check to see if it's only a little bit or a lot. My lo takes forever to finish pooing, but also wakes up every hour or so at night to eat. I usually change him before and after a feed 🤣😐

I change just before he finishes his bottle so that he’s got a clean diaper then I continue to give him his last ounce after the diaper change. Afterwards I burp him then rock him to sleep so he’s got a clean diaper and a full belly.

I have given up trying to be smart about nappy changes. If it’s dirty or wet, I just change it. She used to scream during a change, but she knows what’s what now and she’s happy to just lie there so long as she doesn’t get cold. If I try to leave her in a wet nappy, she won’t settle so I just change her and give her a cuddle or a little top up.
