HELP PLEASE

I had a weird period, it only lasted for 3 days very light couldn't fill up a pad or tampon and the blood was brown. I looked it up online and it said I could be pregnant! Does anybody know if this is true or not or has anybody ever had the same thing and ended up pregnant?
