Does taking clomid increase the chances of twins?

Hi everyone. 
Has anyone been successful taking clomid and if yes, how long was you taking for? Did you get a boy or a girl? Who had twins? 
I have been actively TTC for 6months but been off contraception for a very very long time so thinking of Clomid. What are your success stories?

My RE says there’s only a chance of twins if you produce 4 or more mature follicles while on clomid. I was prescribed 50mg to take on CDs 3-5, and produced 2-3 mature follicles each time.

My sister took just one round and got twins first try on 50mg after a year of trying. 
I have been trying for 7 months and just finished my first round of 50mg yesterday. My dr prescribed it to me because in those 7 months testing showed I never ovulated, so he didn’t want me to keep trying until 12 months when it is impossible to even try to conceive if you aren’t ovulating. 
If you are ovulating on your own and take it it has a chance to mess you up instead of helping you. It does increase change of twins 😍😍😍

I got pregnant on my second round of clomid with twins girl/boy. My doctor said the chances on twins was 5-10%. We have friends who got pregnant first round of clomid with twin girls

I got pregnant my first round (50 mg) after trying for a little over a year. Sure enough I’m currently 21 weeks along with twin girls 🎀 My doctor told me there was a 20% increase in multiples, and I laughed thinking that was a small chance but joke was on me 😂 I love my girls already though and can’t wait for our new adventure!

I've heard the chances are around 7% for twins and less than 1% triplets...

My doctor said it's about 10% chance of having twins. I conceived with clomid and IUI and had a healthy baby boy.

I had 7 follicles after my 2nd round of clomid, but thank the Lord only 1 was fertilized
