Pregnant w. #2 / vbac or c-section again?

So I had my daughter last year via csection, today my obgyn brought up if I’m going to do a Vbac or a c-section, I said I’m not sure but I’m going to think about it. Is it that dangerous to do a vbac? I’ve heard a lot of good stories and actually never heard any bad ones. But I’ve actually always been scared of vaginal births lol no idea why but the thought of it just scares me. I wouldn’t mind having another c-section but depended how long my SO would be off work. With our first baby he was only off a week. But he doesn’t work there anymore, good thing is I have a long time to think about this still. Any advice ?

ah - I didn't offer any advice! Educate yourself on VBAC's! I really loved the movie  "the business of being born" it's very informational.

Having a repeat c-section has statistically higher risks, so a VBAC is a safe option,  they both are! I attempted a VBAC with my second and it didn't work out. It was a very emotionally taxing thing for me. We are just scheduling a c-section this time. I don't need all that pain before hand to end up gutted in the end 😂

I'm 22 weeks along. My first is 18 months old. So they will deliver approx 22/23 months apart. My doctors are in full support of my trying for a vbac just say they will not induce me I have to naturally go into labor. My last c section was at 37 weeks after a failed induction. I was induced early due to complications. If those complications happen again then I will have no choice but a planned c section. 
🙏🙏🙏🙏 they don't and I can try! I have  a very big toddler 30 pounds... who loves his momma... doing all I can to prepare him for this new addition but can't imagine 6 weeks without being able to pick him up.  But bottom line as long as we end up with a healthy momma and little boy that's all I can ask for!

I am 22weeks pregnant with number two. I want to do a vbac, and dr says it's a viable option. However, she wants to re-evaluate my body closer to labor to determine if it is still a good idea. She said will start to monitor my dialation and such things closer to term and decide whether or not they will allow me to continue to full term and attempt a vbac
