My birth story 👶🏽💫🌸

Ok 10 months later I'm finally writing my birth story. It's a simple birth story. So at 38+6 I had woke up with cramps around 3am that I never had before. I tried to go back to sleep but they wouldn't go away. I started counting them and they were 4 mins apart so I called my sister saying I think I'm in labor and she said call again if they don't go away. I waited 5 more mins and called her again and she said I should go to the hospital. I got in the shower then after I called my mother told her about my cramps she said to get myself ready she was leaving her job to pick me up. During my shower, mucus started dripping down my legs and cramps got longer and hurted more. It's about 5:30am and we are now on our way to the hospital. Cramps started to get worse and I started crying. When we got to the hospital at 6:40 I couldn't walk at all it was hard walking to the emergency room. They got me a room and they check me I was only 2 centimeters dilated 😩. I tried to wait till I was at least 6 to get an epi but It was so painful. I asked for one an hour later and I was at 4 centimeters. When I had got it, I was so relieved and tired so I took a little nap. Doctors said I was dilating fast. By 7am i was fully dialated but they tried to get her in a better position and that took about an hour and 20 mins for me to finally start pushing. I did pretty good pushing.. I didn't feel a thing and it was real quick. I just wanted it to be over and my doctor didn't really have to help me with pushing only to stop pushing at the right time. So my baby was born at 8:20am on Dec 6 2016 and she's now 10 months ❤ 🌺Saige Addison Tucker🌺
